Miata air scoop23 Mar 2007 00:25 GMT29
I just installed the scoop that directs air down to the feet when it's
hot. That's bothered me ever since we bought the Miata. 95 degrees
outside and my feet are cooking down there. It apparantly works like
it says it's supposed to.  I'm tickled with it. I have no affiliation

I had these symptoms:
Door won't open,  and then interior handle just doesn't feel like its doing
anything.
You may notice that the outside handle (which also won't open the door) is

Which Brake Pads22 Mar 2007 04:54 GMT1
Just looking for an inexpensive set of pads for my 2000. Moss Motors
has Standard replacement pads in Genuine Mazda Parts and
"aftermarket". The aftermarket are significantly cheaper. Anyone try
these? Also they have Mintex pads which are only slighty more. I was

1995 Mazada Miata Oil Leak19 Mar 2007 01:02 GMT1
I recently had the oil pan seal replaced.  Within ten day the real
seal on the transmission started to leak.  The mechanic told me this
is normal due to the increase in pressure caused by replacing the oil
pan seal.  I have asked two other mechanics and they agree with the
Headlight/Foglight trouble question18 Mar 2007 03:24 GMT4
A few weeks ago my fog lights stopped working. Yesterday while driving
from Tampa to NJ, just my left lowbeam failed. I replaced the bulb and
that didn't do it. I don't have a shop manual and I've only had my
2000 Miata a short time. Is it possible that the headlight issue is
Profile and tire pressure17 Mar 2007 03:43 GMT17
I was driving to work a while ago and noticed the car was pulling to the
right. As it turned out, the right front tire was flat and had a running
crack all around the sidewall. I don't know if the tire was low for a
while or whether I had run over something that morning. But with ...
Off-topic / GPS question16 Mar 2007 16:19 GMT20
A friend gave me a Garmin emap GPS from 1991. It's old but it works.
Anyway, I would like to upgrade to a more modern one, I can actually
still sell this for about $80.00 to help offset the cost.
I would rather have a hand-held unit, and I won't try to program it
Recommend a mechanic near Portland, Oregon ??16 Mar 2007 15:02 GMT1
I've had some new shocks sitting in my garage (and you've put up with
some posts from me asking for installation help) and I'm realizing
that with all that's going on in my life, I may never get around to
installing them (would that all of life could be driving around with
Oil pressure fluctating 2007 2.0i15 Mar 2007 23:19 GMT8
I seem to the recall that on my 2002 1.8i the needle on the oil pressure
gauge hardly moved from just above the centre.
I have just got a 2007 2.0i and the gauge varies from about 2 marks
above low at idle when warm to 3/4 of the way to high at about 4,500rpm.
Valve noise.15 Mar 2007 22:41 GMT9
Hi all. I have some questions concerning my son's 97 Miata. He has
owned it since 2001. Durning that time he has put 30,000 miles on it.
What can I say he likes computers.
I am getting a lot of top end noise from one of the cylinders in my
Nice central Texas miata for $3800.0014 Mar 2007 01:49 GMT3

asking price, it even has an extra set of Rota wheels.

Which clutch13 Mar 2007 02:07 GMT3
I got a clutch today, (A stocker), but I was offered a ceramic one as
well for the rebuilding of my 95 jr/sc'd car.  I figured a ceramic one
would be too aggressive for daily driving.  Do you Agree?
