Went to Mike's Place* this afternoon for an oil change, left $400 poorer! I told 'em I had a stink when I stopped after driving a few miles, it was a leaky "O" ring seal on the camshaft postion sensor. I also said I was driving to Californicate on Thursday so they checked it

| 2006 MP3 CD Changer and Song Titles | 10 Mar 2007 18:12 GMT | 6 |
I traded in my old Miata for a new 2006 MX-5 last summer and picked up the MP3 6 CD changer. It works very well, but I cannot get any text (i.e. song titles) to show up on the display for the CDs I create. I purchased the sport package, so I have the "non-Bose" version of the

| Downshifting 101 (questions) | 08 Mar 2007 01:37 GMT | 18 |
Well, I am teaching myself how to do a rev-matched downshift. No heel- and-toe or double-clutching for now, just your basic single-clutch downshift. So I thought I'd present how I'm going about this, and invite people to chime in with improvements, or point out mistakes in

| Mismatched tires work OK, or not good? | 06 Mar 2007 18:45 GMT | 9 |
The title sums up my question, but here is the long version: Got a 2003 Miata Shinsen version a month ago, which came with Fuzion ZRi summer tires on 205/45-16 wheels. Right now the fronts are at about 2/32" so they should be replaced, but the rears still have 8/32" on

| Front License Tag Installation - Help! | 04 Mar 2007 07:25 GMT | 6 |
I just moved to MD from MI and am now required to install a front license tag. The Mazda dealer sold me a bracket (for way too much money) that appears to require that I drill two holes in my front bumper. There has to be a better way. Please advise. Thanks.

| How to launch the car? | 04 Mar 2007 01:04 GMT | 12 |
Yes, I am new to standard trannies. (I did live in San Francisco for a year, but that is another story.) Anyway, I am pretty good at getting the car moving now if I do say so myself. Typically what I do is to give it a little gas (something

| Question on brake wear | 03 Mar 2007 16:05 GMT | 4 |
I just changed all brake pads and had all rotors turned. Went for a test drive and the left front rotor is coloring (slight bluish tint) and showed signs of rubbing, where as the other three show nothing. Is this something to be concerned about, or should I let them wear in, ...
