Looking for a Miata-SoutWest US16 Apr 2007 15:04 GMT9
Last Thursday I totaled my wife's red 93. But it did save my life. Airbag
deployed, seat belts were snug, only minor injuries, considering what the
alternatives were.
Anyhow, We are looking for another Miata and if anyone has one for sale or
02 Miata Won't Start16 Apr 2007 14:50 GMT3
I have an '02 Miata with very low mileage (22K) that suddenly won't
start, and am at a total loss. Over the winter I forgot to unplug the
battery, and was greeted with one that was dead as a doornail and
unrechargeable once it warmed up. 5 years for the original
erratic problem fyi15 Apr 2007 02:17 GMT1
Had a somewhat strange problem recently that I thought the group might
like for their collective knowledge base.
My Miata would start fine when cold, or had sat for a while, and would
run fine for short trips. When it was fully warmed up, it would

'94 Miata headlights stuck up13 Apr 2007 19:08 GMT4
I walked outside a couple of weeks ago to discover that the headlights
on my '94 Miata were in the "up" position. I'd assumed that a car
prowler had hopped in (we keep it unlocked and don't keep anything
inside), but there was no evidence of anyone visiting. The light
Overheating despite new parts13 Apr 2007 05:10 GMT11
My black 1994 miata has an overheating problem that I cannot
diagnose.  Most of my driving is on the highway, where the car does
not overheat.  But if I get caught in stop and go traffic or city red
lights after driving across town on the highway, the needle begins to
Track use and Motor Oil11 Apr 2007 18:38 GMT3
I plan to take my stock '96 Miata out to the track for the 1st time
soon.  I'm also due for an oil change.  I normally put 5W30 non
synthetic in my cars which work fine in California weather and normal
driving.  What motor oil would you recommend for the occasional track
Stick VS Automatic?11 Apr 2007 15:24 GMT9
Seriously looking for a replacement Miata. Thanks to all who offered
suggestions as to where to look.
My bride and I are true stick shifters...but there seem to be an abundance
of automatics out there. Is that because they detract from the true "spirit"
Windblocker Speakers10 Apr 2007 13:07 GMT1
Hello Nick Brown
Thanks for the info on installing the speakers in the windblocker. I
have a 2000 Miata and I wanted some rear speakers. But like you , I
really didn't want to cut into the rear deck. So I thought about
Looking for value open-top. Advice please.09 Apr 2007 21:55 GMT8
I'm looking to buy an open-top runaround. My budget is <$8K but other than
that my requirements are pretty vague. Basicially I'm looking for something
that's fun, easy/cheap to maintain, and can handle some light travelling in
NW Pacific winters. I have been eyeing Miata's in the ...
Who wants a 2004 Miata Speed?09 Apr 2007 01:16 GMT17

Did any of the M2's come with a tilt steering wheel? I thought it was
introduced with the NC.
If you will note, this "Miata Speed" has special features like interval

My 2006 Sport has more power in the cold.08 Apr 2007 14:37 GMT13
I've noticed that my 2006 Sport has more power in the cold weather.  I get wheel spin all the time when
it's cold (I don't have traction control).
Has anyone else noticed this?
Thanks.

What is the car telling me?08 Apr 2007 00:47 GMT5
So there's two situations I'm wondering about now.  (Have had the car
almost two months and it's my first stick shift.)
First situation: Sometimes, after getting in gear, engine goes wuh-wuh-
wuh before proceeding as normal.  A time when this might happen is
