I was working on my car and a neighbor walked by and ask what I was
torque a certain bolt to.  The he asked if it's wet or dry torque.  I
said it must be wet cause I just put some anti-seize on the bolt.
Then he tells me that wet torque needs to be much higher than dry

For the 91st time the Indianapolis 500 is being run w/o one single
Miata being entered!  Obviously the promoters of the race are being
very unfair, next year I think I'll put a cold air intake and racing

Over the weekend I fried a red/gray (or black) wire located just to the
right of the steering column leading into the center console in my '92 Miata
along the bottom of the dashbord. It paralleled a blue wire.

On my '99, I regularly have the problem that the starter solenoid clicks, but
the starter won't crank right away. I have to turn the ignition key on and off
several times before the starter turns.
I have a new starter and a new ignition switch.

My 1991 Miata, just never quit pinging (rattle noise), my mechanic
suggested to fill up with premium gas for a while and add Chevron
Techron, I did that but pinging is still there, with the current gas
price I really want to go back to regular gas, any ideas, suggessions
