experiences now with factory reconditioned engines, and two other data
points, but want to compare with engines rebuilt by Flyin' Miata or
others...any advice?

My beloved '99 has a seriously pock-marked hood and front fenders.
Meteorite damage, I am sure. I did not become truly aware of this until I
waxed the car and was left with white wax speckles all over these surfaces.
Any thoughts on how to remove them?  Such as a wax stripper?

I've purchased a '90 and am picking it up Saturday.

going 60 mph it's doing almost 3,000 rpm.

I'm planning to get a front sway bar in another month or so, but I
also want to do a very aggressive alignment on my Miata.
Should I wait until the front sway bar has been swapped out before I
do the alignment or it doesn't matter?

My son was replacing battery when cable caused spark, shortening out
battery. Battery was replaced, but car appears dead. Looked at all
fuses and the 80 amp fuse under hood appears to be blown blown...wish

My tire dealer tells me Toyo is out of stock in this size.  Toyo's web site
doesn't seem even to list it.  They seem to be scarce.  If these are going
