Car Prices31 Aug 2007 21:44 GMT10
Cars are a big investment. Since buying a car is relatively a long-
term investment, many people want to make an informed decision about
the latest prices of all models of cars before deciding on any one.
Car prices are likely to change quite often, depending on the market

Shocks29 Aug 2007 05:28 GMT12
My '96 is in for service at the Miata dealer at around 100K miles. Original
shocks.  Asked them to inspect them and advise.  Answer was they're not
leaking and don't need replacement.    I was shocked (shocked, get it?)
given the advice here about shocks being shot after 40K ...

A/C Flush Question27 Aug 2007 23:02 GMT3
Have been reading at different places that if you replace the
compressor you need to flush out the A/C lines??  Any help on if this
needs to be done on a 1990.  Also, does the compressor have its own
oil or does it run off of the oil in the system??  it is a Denso TV
Changing inlet manifold coolant hose on an NA27 Aug 2007 16:49 GMT2
There's one small bore hose which runs under the inlet manifold.  It's
the only hose I haven't changed yet, because I can't even see the end of it.
Any tips?  Do you have to go in through the wheel arch?
A/C Clutch Replacement27 Aug 2007 04:05 GMT3
The air conditioning clutch on my 1994 miata has begun screeching for a
minute or so after I start the car. The clutch is the piece hidden inside
and just behind the pulley assembly on the front of the A/C compressor which
is mounted below the power steering pump on the left side ...

Air bag warning light26 Aug 2007 16:48 GMT2
I have a 96 Miata, have had it for 11 years , it has over 110,000 great
miles on it, and we love it. About 2 years ago the air bag warning light
came on solid. At first I worried some about it, then just got used to it
and have basically ignored it. A couple of days ago it started ...

PRHT Quality24 Aug 2007 18:06 GMT5
I've been in and out a lot lately.. and I know there's a few here who watch
the forums at Miata.net too.  Have you seen anything here, there or in the
real world that would make you concerned about buying a new PHRT, quality-
wise?
Top Replacement23 Aug 2007 00:53 GMT21
Bambi's (M1) due for a new top.  It must have a plastic window unless
they've come up with glass that works with a roll bar.

Rust22 Aug 2007 06:33 GMT5
I have noticed a patch of rust forming on the lower panel just forward of
the rear wheel well.  Any insight on how a big deal this is, if it is
indicative of a larger problem, and about how much it might cost to get
repaired would be greatly appreciated.
