AC Question07 Aug 2007 22:58 GMT2
OK.  Still having problems with my ac.  The freson is good, pressure
is good.  Just replaced the thermoswitch and still does the same
thing.  Does anyone know anything about the ac relay and porblems that
it might cause??  Overall this is what it is doing,  runs fine and

Schedule 1/2 Maintenance06 Aug 2007 06:24 GMT12
Both schedule maintenance tables show valve clearance adjustments AND
fuel filter at 60K mi. Is that what most of y'all have done?? I have
always let my fuel filter be replaced with the 30K, 60K, etc. service.
my 2000 Miata, believe or not, is not yet at 29,000. So near the first

Water in the boot/trunk!05 Aug 2007 13:01 GMT9
We are having record* amounts of rain here in Denmark and unfortunately
a portion of that is finding it's way into the boot of my 1999 Miata!
The whole boot is damp and some of the carpeting is wet plus there is
enough water under the spare that it makes sense drain it by use of ...

Bunch of Questions to come04 Aug 2007 01:19 GMT16
Hey Guys, (especially Leon, Iva & Lanny)
Nice to see you're all still here.
I've got a bunch of questions to ask and would like your input (more
   than just 'look it up.')
Headlights do/don't pop up and tires.02 Aug 2007 17:04 GMT23
I'll do this in reverse order, the rear tires on my Miata are Falken
ZIEX 185x60R14s and were on the car when I got it.  I can recommend
them for great fun and driving enjoyment as I found during a recent
rain that the wet weather traction is ZERO, ZILCH, NADA!  If you enjoy
Air conditioner drain02 Aug 2007 14:59 GMT13
I just got a phone call from a friend who says his '94 miata periodically
dumps about a quart or so of water on the passenger's feet whenever the
air conditioner is run for an hour or so.
Anyone know where to look or what to check for this problem?
Power Steering Fluid02 Aug 2007 07:01 GMT3
Hi all, can somebody tell me what the recommended fluid for the PS on
a '91 is?  Google isn't being helpful on this strangely, you'd have
throught there'd be a mention of it out there somewhere.
Unfortunately my Enthusiasts Shop Manual met an untimely end after
Water Leak Passenger Side Interior Under Glove Compartment01 Aug 2007 17:05 GMT19
Inside my 1991 Miata, the water literally pours onto the rug on the
passenger side when the A/C is on. I turn off the A/C and no water problem.
Should I assume that the hose has become loose inside and to get it from the
interior?
How noisy?01 Aug 2007 01:11 GMT7
I'm toying with the idea of getting a second car: perhaps a used Miata.
One thing that worries me is how noisy they are (or are not.)  Years of
driving motorcycle has left me with tinnitus and hypersensitive to
noise.
