I am planning buying a 02 Mazda Miata MX5 SE. I showed it to a AAA
mechanic and he says that the car has a transmission case leak and
transmission output seal needs to be replaced..

whining...won't leave first....no reverse...whats up?

I have new rotors and pads on all four corners yet my brakes seem soft.
They certainly work, but they don't have the bite that brakes on a new car
have.  What do I need to replace to get that authoritative bite that braking
on a new car has?  Master cylinder, new hoses front and ...

The air flow in my 2001 is stuck in the dashboard vents position and
will not turn to foot well or defrost.  Is this a "take it to a
mechanic" or is there any posibility of repairing this myself?

Your local gas station probably offers you 3 levels of gasoline, like
gold, silver and bronze. These typically have different levels of
octane in them and you will generally get a little better mileage for
the more expensive type.

I have been running 10-30 Mobil One since I bought my Miata. It is
turbocharged.
A friend gave me 12 quarts of 15-50 Mobil One. Would using this cause
any problems?
