NA wheel differences30 Jan 2008 21:22 GMT3
As many of you might know Mazda used many different suppliers for their
Miata-parts. One of those parts is the original 14"x5,5" 7-spoke alloy found
on 89-93 Miatas (http://www.miata.net/faq/images/91alloy.jpg), as the
technical committee found out last weekend. One of the ...
MSM 4 Sale30 Jan 2008 01:08 GMT14
Window (monitor?) shopping and came across what I consider to be a great
deal on an 04 north of Houston (Conroe, TX). Only six thousand miles for
$15.6k. It's Titanium (the only acceptable 04 MSM color ;-) with cloth
interior. Check it out on autotrader.com if interested. I wish ...
O2 sensor replacement30 Jan 2008 01:04 GMT15
My 99 now has ~81k and the CEL came on the other day. I checked the code and
it indicates the #2 O2 sensor (down stream from the cat) is not sending a
signal. I scooted under the car and fiddled around with it a bit. I saw
where it into the interior of the car through the floor ...
Headlight leak in '99 Miata29 Jan 2008 05:42 GMT7
My 99 has always been garaged, until lately.  I live in San Diego
where it hardly rains and have never noticed moisture inside my
headlight lens, until now.  The car has been parked in the driveway
for several months, we've had some rain and now water has condensed
OT>The Spoofing Poster27 Jan 2008 12:00 GMT21
Well folks after reporting this clown to Google Grps. Abuse, I notice
that they are no longer showing any new ones on Google grps, somehow
blocking them. BUT when I accessed this grp., however Webtv does it,
on my Webtv unit (Yes I still enjoy using that for the Firewalled WTV
temperature gauge on Mazda xedos26 Jan 2008 18:48 GMT2
We have a Mazda Xedos 2l V6. Yesterday as I was driving the temperature
gauge shot up to the red. I pulled over asap and when I stopped it went
back down. Put 1 litre of water in (in the dark )and all seemed well.
Carried on and a bit later the heater blew cold for a couple of miles ...
The new sensor is here! The new sensor is here!22 Jan 2008 18:34 GMT12
"Things are going to start happening to me now"......
If you have seen "The Jerk", the part where Steve Martin gets his phone
book while working/living at the gas station was about my reaction when
the UPS truck pulled up with my part.

These are fairly uncommon, might be of interest to someone?

The price isn't too bad and might be negotiable.
Where are you and your Miata?22 Jan 2008 02:56 GMT233
Well, Pat (PWS) has mentioned a couple of times that only a small handful of
folks hang out on this group these days. While I'm not usually inclined to
try to prove him wrong, on this particular issue, I would love to. Would
everyone who see's this message, please reply with CITY ...

Winter Driving in SW Ontario?18 Jan 2008 23:20 GMT33
My winter vehcile has given up the ghost and I am considering driving
my 2000 Miata in the winter now.   I would obviously put snow tires on
it but can anyone comment on how it handles in the snow and ice?
Would be much appreciated.
Is it Ok to Use Hard Suspension Pads on a 2004 with standard suspension?17 Jan 2008 00:31 GMT4
Just ordered replacement pads for my 2004 miata thinking I'd be getting the
NS pads. When I checked the part # - N0Y9-33-23Z on my invoice, it appears
to be for HD or sport suspension front pads. I was told by the dealership
that they use the car's Vin # JM1NB353840400298 to ...
Replacing front brake pads on 2004 Miata14 Jan 2008 18:25 GMT2
I have a 2004 base model with standard brakes.  Is there a piston
retractor screw on the front calipers, or do I just press the piston
back into the caliper?
For Those Using Charger/Maintainers???14 Jan 2008 16:38 GMT7
Hooked up the charger/maintainer that I got from J.C. Whitney today, a
Vector VEC080 "Smart Battery Charger". And since a poster in this grp.
alerted me that the cigarette lighter connector would not work, cause
of the ignition key needing to be in and on accessory, I used the
