I find that when starting my 1999 NB 1.8 it takes about a second before the engine fires up. Or to put in different words it takes just slightly long enough for me to notice and think "Huh!". This seems to be regardless of ambient temperatures and only if the car

Just bragging, but I am still on the original battery on my 1991 miata, 250,000+ miles. Battery is still running strong. No chargers, no aid whatsoever, living in the snowy cold side of Washington state. Darn impressive.

Simply put, how do I know when it's time to change the brake pads? Is this something that can be visually inspected? Or should I rely on the "squeal" sound? __

Well I finally did it. Just ordered myself a charger/maintainer for my 2000 Miata. Gets pretty cold here, especially in our garage, 94533 area. Not a snowy area, but never the less cold enough for us beach bums>>LOL. And my Miata is lucky if it gets turned over once per week,

My 1991 Miata with the Tec3 engine management system is not starting. The engine cranks and shows oil pressure, but there is no response from the tachometer. The diagnostics on the Tec3 computer show the most probably cause to be
