| 1999 Miata - Check Engine - Help | 20 Feb 2008 18:30 GMT | 12 |
I need a few words of wisdom about my '99. It has 65K miles on it. About a week ago I did something that I believe was very stupid. I cleaned my engine by hosing it down. The car ran ok for a little while, but then stopped. The engine light was on. Yes - you guessed it. ...

| Daytime Running Lights | 19 Feb 2008 22:42 GMT | 27 |
My 1994 miata daytime running light module quit awhile back, so I bought another one from the dealer. I suspect that in the intervening years they either changed the module color or came up with with an upgraded part which had a different color to retrofit my 1994 miata. In any ...

| UK Mazda 3 Sport battery draining. | 19 Feb 2008 06:21 GMT | 6 |
Our 2002 MX-5 used to get a flat battery if not driven regularly. Fixed by getting a battery conditioner. Our 2004 3 Sport suffers from a flat battery unless it gets regular long journeys. Does not seem to be a problem if we turn the alarm off.

| Another check engine light - how to handle this one? | 19 Feb 2008 05:33 GMT | 8 |
Well my Miata is an '03 (Shinsen edition) with about 33K that I've had since Feb '07. Check Engine light came on 2 weeks ago. Decided to buy a code reader (~$45) and read the alert code a few days ago, which came up as

| 98 Miata Fuel Pump Cost? | 16 Feb 2008 13:41 GMT | 2 |
Has anyone had a fuel pump replaced recently? (only 80,000 miles on a 98) Haven't got the price yet, just the diagnoses from where I had the car towed to.

| Tail of the Dragon | 16 Feb 2008 13:33 GMT | 4 |
I made the run down to Bryson City / Cherokee N.C. area in my '06 Sport taking my cousin to look for a site for her fifth-wheel camper. Advice: if you are doing something like this with a passenger, first determine their level of nervousness and susceptibility to motion sickness. ...

| Battery Tender | 15 Feb 2008 00:52 GMT | 1 |
I recently purchased the Battery Tender with the intention of mounting the semi-permanent cable with the lugs on the end. I'm still using the OEM battery and its battery lugs are considerably larger than the lugs supplied with the tender. How did the rest of you with the

On the front of the vehicle, aren't really for towing per the manual. Have any of you not knowing that, ever used them for towing??? If so, what was the result??

| Multiple Random Misfires | 11 Feb 2008 14:05 GMT | 11 |
I saw over on google that there was a discussion about this several years ago. I seem to be getting the same error, but with different symptoms. Mine is not at high rev but every once in a while it will do it when I first start the car. Often after only a short time since

| Hole repair? | 09 Feb 2008 21:11 GMT | 10 |
My Westco battery should be here today and I plan to install it and remove the tired Mazda battery currently <-pun not intended! installed in the car. Since the Mazda battery requires venting to the outside there's a neat little connection where the vent hoses come together and

Last night I found I had a broken headlight on the 1992 MX5. On my way home I stopped at a couple of places to get a new one and found AutoZone was out and their computer showed their other nearby stores were also out.

| Battery Charger/Maintainer | 03 Feb 2008 17:08 GMT | 2 |
Man, do I like the charger/maintainer that I had bought not too long ago, and installed. It has gotten to the point where I seldom see it giving my battery a quick hit. And I can let my Miata just sit there, unused in the garage for a good two weeks, and when I turn her over,
