| Save Gas with your GPS Device | 28 Aug 2008 01:14 GMT | 2 |
The most common ways to let a GPS help you save on gas is by asking it to help you find the quickest, not the shortest route. http://gadgetupdates.googlepages.com/gps_can_help_save_on_gas

| Re-occurring P1135 engine code on Miata 2000 above 4000 RPM | 25 Aug 2008 07:07 GMT | 12 |
I have replaced the front heated oxygen sensor with a Mazda new unit to fix a fault consistent with the P1135 indicator and I have cleared the engine code/CEL. However, whenever I wind up the engine above 4000 RPMs, the engine light, the P1135 code and 2 sensor indicators ...

| Cat rattle - replacement ideas? | 22 Aug 2008 15:00 GMT | 13 |
My '96 has a horrendous exhaust rattle - I did the rubber mallet thing and it seems to be coming from the cat, the front resonator, or both... hard to tell. The PO put a Flying Miata system on, I think a catback (front resonator is not rusty, stainless?, dual-tip not-rusty muffler ...

| No Miata yet.... | 22 Aug 2008 03:06 GMT | 8 |
I apparently misunderstood when I thought the paint shop said I'd get the car back last Friday, they called my yesterday morning and said it would be done this coming Friday, the twentytooth. Too bad, we're having good top down weather and my new tires are still

| Who's here? | 19 Aug 2008 18:57 GMT | 60 |
Well, it's been entirely too quiet around here lately. The only really interesting posts I've seen lately on this thread were political (off topic) and as much as I love this groups ability to stay on topic (unlike most newsgroups), it was at least nice to see human communication ...

| Best bang for buck on rotors and pads? | 15 Aug 2008 01:00 GMT | 12 |
It's brake service time. I plan to put rebuilt calipers on with new pads and new rotors. I am leaning towards OEM on both but am thinking about Hawk pads. What'cha running for brakes, and what did the rotors and pads cost?

Bought a 2006 "Tourinng" with 10,000 miles, picked up today. Playing with it in the driveway, came across a couple of things I hope you might be able to answer. 1. The second key remote works intermittenlty. Do the batteries go dead

| '99 headlight assembly removal | 12 Aug 2008 00:43 GMT | 2 |
Where are the attachment points for '99 Miata headlight assemblies? I see two bolts on top, but there is at least one I can't see that's holding it in.

| Radio Removal - 2006 | 10 Aug 2008 22:40 GMT | 2 |
Anyone point me to a "how to" on taking out the radio on a 2006? We are not necissarily swapping out the stock radio, I need to get to the back to do either an audiolink or wired fm transmitter for an ipd connection. Thank you.

| 2008 Miata - slipping out of 4th gear? | 09 Aug 2008 20:55 GMT | 23 |
I have a brand spanking new 2008 Miata (only 90 miles on it when I got it last week!) with a 6 speed transmission. I have 600 miles on it now and noticed something strange and I don't know if it's me or the car. I generally shift around 2500-3000 rpm for faster acceleration
