I did the brakes last night. Amazingly simple;  maybe ten mins per side? It
takes longer to jack up the car, remove and re-install the wheel than it
does to swap out the pads.
Impressive engineering.

My wife broke the passenger side exterior mirror glass on her 98 626.
Do you buy the replacement glass from Mazda or do you buy a subassembly?
What is the remove/replace technique?

Anybody have a wiring diagram for the trunk lid mounted tail lights?
Specifically, I'm looking to know which wires go to the center brake
light in the wing and the back-up lights, when accessing the wiring
from the main body of the car, just before they go through the

We have a 1994 626 Cronos, automatic transaxle.  Problem is... the hold
button!  After driving approximately 200 km, the hold light on the dash
will start to flash, for no apparent reason.  If I disconnect the
battery, and then reconnect it, the "hold" light on the dash will not

Thinking of buying one of these as a winter car. Its the V-6 model and seems
like a nice enough vehicle. Did a fairly thorough check of it but planning
on taking it to an independent mechanic for a more detailed look. Anyone
know of any particular things I should ask him to look at ...
