mp3's and the factory cd player ???26 Dec 2003 01:33 GMT2
The manual I got with my new 03 protege5 says that the cd player will
play mp3s but I tried it and it only saw one track and had no sound.
 Whats up ?
 Will it play them or not?

There was no warning, it just stopped. There is no fuel being pumped into the
carb. I thought it might be frozen. It is minus 4C here today and won't warm up
any time soon.
I suspect it is the fuel pump.

I could not find results on the crash test for the Protoge5 on NHTSA's
website. Was that test never performed?
The test was performed for the Protege sedan, is it safe to assume that
the results would be the same between the 5-door and the sedan?

Can anyone comment on the radio reception?  Heard that there was a
problem with the 2003.  Antenna is new on the 2004s.
Any other general comments?

I have a 1995 Mazda Protege LX. The exhaust system is noisy when the
engine is cold but, so far the noise disappears when it warms up.
Someone looked at it and told me I have a crack in the Exhaust Manifold.
I'm looking for an Exhaust Manifold for my 1.8L engine in the
