The cable on the dash mounted idle adjustment is broken. Anyone know
how to adjust idle speed from under the hood? Thanks in advance.

I am preparing my 87 300D for a complete paint job. How can I remove the chrome
pieces ( "300D", the star, and "Turbo") mounted on the trunk lid, without
damaging them?

I already own a 1985 300 turbo diesel sedan - couldn't be happier with
it and with the excellent advice I got here on it!
I just found a wagon for sale locally. ~250k miles, body looks good,
no rust, interior looks good.

handsfree cell phone system that came with my 1998 SLK 230. Is there

Please help solve this puzzling mystery. Every time I start the car,
the left side of the sound system is dead silent. It slowly comes to
life, beginning with a lot of static and distortion, and within about
five minutes it sounds fine. Odd thing; it only does it on FM radio.

I have a A class with two remote fobs with brand new batteries and i found
last night when I parked it that neither of them will lock the car, the
remote locking system just doesn't respond.

Sorry if this has been posted previously, but I am considering on buying
a '99 ML 320. I've read that there have been a lot of complaints due to
fit and finish, especially on the '98 model. I was thinking that by
buying a '99 model, it may help me avoid some of these problems.

got to it and the remote doesn't work anymore. Thanks.
