Hi, I have a fuse blown in the circuit that feeds the window winders

Looks clean. What should I expect? Should I buy this?

For UK number-plate aficionados14 Aug 2003 22:35 GMT1
Saw the registration number A1 ONE this morning.
As the letter O is not issued as far as I know, it should be something else.
The (rather tenuous) link to this group is that the number was on a C Sports
Coup?.
Any hope for the MB love affair? (1991 560SEL reliability)14 Aug 2003 17:26 GMT2
Is it the collective wisdom that the 560SEL with less than 120K miles and
all service records is a reliable car? Will the doo-dads break repeatedly,
or will this car go a long time without several big surprises for a few
years? Was _this_ when Mercedes was reliable, or was that ...
I need help choosing a new car14 Aug 2003 07:26 GMT9
Hi, right now I have a '95 vw jetta (my first car) and it has problems not
worth fixing, in my opinion. It's also a boring drive and has a salvage
title. So I am considering buying a new car soon to drive to my university
every day.
Replace Merc Badge on bonnet13 Aug 2003 23:21 GMT1
This is probably a simple question.
Does anyone know how to fit a new NB badge on the bonnet of a 230TE?.....It looks like it might be able
to snap on without dismantling.....Or do I need to take the new assembly apart?
Some doom brain thought it funny to pull the old one until it ...
Smart car in USA?13 Aug 2003 21:45 GMT8
I was whatching legally blonde 2 at the cinema (I had to do it for the other
half), and at the end they drove off in a smart cabriolet.
Now I know American films are full of product placement, and plenty of shots
of the Audi TT.

Only just discovered it.  Never read about it in Europe.  Who needs a Smart
when you can have a GEM???
Cruise Control13 Aug 2003 11:18 GMT1
I have a 1995 E220 as well as a 1990 200EA, and on both vehicles the cruise
control fails to engage and on the E220 the rear head rests no longer drop
to the rest possition. I went to my local MB agent and asked how much to
look at the problem and the starting price was 2500 pounds ...

Are ebay.de mileages probably genuine?13 Aug 2003 00:32 GMT1
I see a lot of older saloons on ebay.de and I wondered:
a) how easy it is to 'clock' or set back mileage on a MB?
b) is this common or rare in germany
In other words, how likely is it that a German MB is totally genuine?
Integrated cell phone on North Am cars?12 Aug 2003 22:30 GMT1
I'd like to know if the North American versions of the SL models come with
an integrated cell phone, like in Europe or is it an add-on option?
You see I know someone in Germany who only had to add a SIM to the system to
activate it.
85 300 SD: is Auxiliary elect. fan really needed12 Aug 2003 19:57 GMT1
I am repairing the A/C system, getting ready for a conversion to R134.  I
think I may have a bad auxiliary fan. Will apply power direct to the fan
power wires to see if it is. Was wondering if this fan is really
necessary?Should I make sure I have a good aux fan and control circuit
