Please help..... any help is appreciated. This car belongs to a friend of mine and she doesn't know what to do... WHILE AT A RED LIGHT OR STOP SIGN, VEHICLE WILL OCCASIONALLY SHUT OFF. IT DOES START RIGHT BACK UP AND IT DOESNT DO IT THAT OFTEN.

Problem: My S 500 brakes makes a high noise, like womans scream (terrible), but only when I?m reversing and use the break..when driving ahead and brakes...no unusual noise. What would that noise be? Anyone?

Can anyone tell me where I could find an adapter to hook up a phone to the Mercedes internal antenna connector in the console. I just need to hook up my Nokia phone which has some kind of mini rca type connector to the mini-uhf connector in the car.

Can anyone tell me why they have two vaccum tubes going to the ignition switch on the 207D? I imagine that a lot of models would also have this idea.........but why? I've never known vaccum to go to an igntion switch, its new to me!

My C180 97 broke down as running out of fuel. Having refilled the tank, I could not start the engine. Battery is fully charged, starter motor cranks but just won't start up. The car was running quite well before. Please help to get it starts again.

Seems unreal that you can't buy a shop manual for the 98 SLK (among others). Is this really true? Basically forces one to go to MB or a shop. Isn't there some kind of a law that a car maker must make repair info available for sale???
