How can i reset the service reminder that comes on every startup on 99 E240?

I´m searching for individual chrome letters for the back of my mercedes
190E.
They must be in the same style as the existing letters ("190E").
They should to be fixed with glue (no screws).

I was browsing the local Mercedes dealer's lot
and noticed a a 2003 SL with 17,000 miles.
The saleperson quoted a surprising high price.
My thought was that the price should be much less.

I have an '85 500 SEC, which is a perfect car in almost every way, except
the lights above the license plate don't work.  Have tried new bulbs etc.,
but no luck.  Used an electrical tester and found that no power in the
circuit was the issue.  Everything else seems to be working, so ...

Considering the drop in reliability I'm not sure I want to move to a newer
year.  I was thinking about going to either a later S or E, but everything I
read makes me wonder.

I just bought a MB 280TE from 1980. It's a lovely car but I have one
problem....the sunroof is not waterproof. When it rains heavily water comes
in to the car throug the small gaps around the sunroof.
Does anyone know how to fix it??

If anyone has a used oil cooler available, I need one.  Actually only
need one of the oil line fittings from it to solder onto mine, so even
if it's damaged but has a good fitting, I can use it.

In the current issue of Forves, David Dreman speaks about cars. And he does not
like the imess of BMW. And he goes on at some length about the MB things that
are getting cut out as not being needed. Quite interesting to see some of the
things that were available!

After rebuilding the transmission the car will not start. It has Fuel
pressure but no ignition. A good crank signal. the battery was disconnected.
I cannot find any one who can help I hav called a half a dozen dealers and
they all say it should start after disconnecting the battery. ...

My 96 E320 has started some new behaviour in the last few weeks of the
8000km that I've owned it.  It will stall if you try and back out of the
garage in the first 45 seconds after starting it, and if you wait the minute
until it doesn't stall, it jumps and slows, jumps and slows ...
