I went to loosen the shock absorber bolt on the bottom and I went slowly and the head came off! i can get to the beoken end...well just about...... How can i get this out? Vice grips? Saw it down and drill it out? What a mess....-Chuck

One of the oil line fittings on my oil cooler is shot, the female threads have corroded away. The rest of the cooler is perfect. Does anyone have an oil cooler around, even one that is damaged is ok. The fitting appears to be sweated into the cooler, so if I can find a good

I'm looking at used MB's. For various reasons, I'm focussing on C280's. Questions: For reliability and performance, inline 6 or V6? Why? Any years to prefer or avoid? What tends to go wrong on these cars? Anything specific to look for (good or bad)?

I have a 1999 C280 which has been affected by the bad gas (high sulfur) distributed last month. The dealer tells me that they have to replace the instrument cluster when they replace the fuel gauge sender in order for the fuel gauge to work with the new senders. Is this correct? ...
