Hi, ..I have a c180.....my aircon works fine, however , from time to
time there is a fusty stale smell from it, it doesn't happen that
often, but is quite nasty when it does happen. What can I do about

Yikes, my best gal is in need of help.
She has all of a sudden, no electric windows, and no turn signals,heat
gauge, or fuel gauge.
All other electric is working fine as can be.

2001-2003 S Class, or a 2003 E Class or some year or another 545 BMW.
The 99 is very weak on brakes, and slow and ponderous because of its weight.

I have recently got a 250td 124 with 170,000  miles  I have noticed it won't kick down to 2nd, kicks down to 1st  at slow speeds and when in 4th kicks down to 3rd as you would expect but will not change down to 2nd at any time! it will change if you use the selector.
