Took my 300E into the shop today and the mechanic said I need new idle
pullys, but I got no price from him?  How much are the parts, and are they
hard to install?? And the tensioner shock is bad he said too...

antenna  unit.....it was going up and down fine and then it got sporatic

My son's 300E transmission has suddenly developed an unusual problem.   It
accelerates fine up to 40mph then suddenly downshifts and screams along at
5000rpm.
What gives?

Now that I'm driven some more, I see that the brakes don't have to be on to
cause the tranny (presumably) to make the noise. Just being at idle can
cause the noise to start, putting the car in neutral gets rid of the noise,
and putting it back in drive most of the time causes it to ...

The speedometer of my 84 380SL works fine, however the odometer does not
