Driver's Powered Headrest on C32031 Jul 2004 19:57 GMT5
Got my car back from MB service and noticed that the headrest no
longer moves down to my preferred position  for it.  It remains high
and has only about 1/2" of movement.  Dealer (on phone) says there's a
button on the seat to release/reset the range but I cannot find it.

'63 M.Benz 220 SB HELP!!!31 Jul 2004 11:51 GMT2
Hi ya'll. I'm new here. We recently got a 63 220 SB, when we got it it
had a pretronics (i don't know if that's the right word, sorry) thing
on it, and my step dad decided to take it off because it wasn't even
the right one for the car, and we wanted to go back to points. We got
thoughts on 2004 E320 wagon31 Jul 2004 02:59 GMT1
I am bailing out on my c320 wagon and looking at the e320 wagon in a
moderately trimmed version.  I am also considering the ML500 special
edition and also the Audi allroad in the 4.2 liter (although 2.7 turbo
is not out of the question)

My first question for the group is where is a good location to install

240 TD what is it worth?30 Jul 2004 21:30 GMT1
I am new to Mercedes cars, my problem is I am in two minds to buy this old
240 diesel estate.  It is tatty, has no wheel trims, a bit of rust.  It has
done 220,000 miles, no problem for a diesel merc I would of thought.  It has
10 months MOT on it, and 6 months tax.  It is on a c ...

Its started backfiring a little and missing, as if its only firing on 3
cylinders at low revs, between 400 and 1000 rpm.  Once its got going its

W124 Smaller Than W123?29 Jul 2004 21:39 GMT4
Is it my imagination, or is the W124 a slightly smaller
car than the W123?  I've owned two 123s and am consider-
ing a 124, but the car looks significantly smaller,
almost as small as a 190.  Maybe it's the styling that

The cruise control on my 85 380SL works inconsistantly.
Is there a common failure part on these, or where/how should I begin

Thx.
