92 300E W124 Hard Shifting Except Under Heavy Accelleration09 Jul 2004 02:42 GMT1
I purchase a 92 300E about 28 months ago and have always been very aware of
how this car seems to shift really hard.  I can manually shift causing the
RPM's to go higher and this makes a much smoother shift.  It seems also
that the shift points are too low, but this may not be ...

I have a 2000 S class.  The drivers window 'express up" has long been a
problem.  It stops repeatedly while closing.  Is there a way to reprogram
it?
Thanks

Had it scanned at Autozone and it said large evaporative system leak and O2

1959 190D front wheel bearings08 Jul 2004 15:33 GMT1
Any of you know how to repack these bearings? Do you have to remove them
completely off the spindle or can you just flush them out in place and force
grease back in? Thanks wolf1
hard starting, continued08 Jul 2004 15:30 GMT6
Tiger, as it turns out it isn't the fuel mixture. If I leave the key at
ignition for a minute, then the car will start right up, so something is
leaking somewhere. Any ideas on where it could be (it wasn't doing this
before the fuel distributor change).

I hope you can help me.
I have a 2.0 190E (1992) and have been running it on LPG for the last
year. It has had the occasional stutter, but nothing really amiss,
although recently it seemed to be a bit down on power.
300sd coolant problems08 Jul 2004 02:34 GMT3
I recently bought an 84 300sd. While replacing an old battery, I
busted a small hose that caused the leaking of radiator fluid. I
noticed further down the hose that the connection was also broken, and
there was a lot of rust under the battery (I assume the line had been

OLd grease fittings05 Jul 2004 14:25 GMT1
I am cleaning of neglected grease fittings on a 190Db Ponton Mercedes.
Several of the rubber protective covers are really "tarred" in place . What

This is a 1959 car and if loaded with grease fittings 26 in ...
