83 300D Throttle Bushing12 Jul 2004 01:22 GMT1
At least I think its a throttle bushing. It seems that the linkage from the
throttle to the firewall connects through a rubber bushing. This piece has
separated and I need a new one. I wanted to verify that it is called a
throttle bushing. Please let me know what you think.

My 190 e air conditiioner died and the dealer says $2525 to repair. Says it
needs a new compressor and a new control module. My questions: How do I know
the dealer is right about the control module? What else could cause the AC to
not work at all? Can I replace the control module ...

AC Causes 380sl To Stall09 Jul 2004 04:50 GMT1
My 81 380sl frequently stalls out in traffic when the A/C is on.
Otherwise the car runs fine and idles with the needle on the first
line above 500 RPM. I cleaned out the idle control valve, but that
didn't cure the problem. So I was wiondering what I should try next.

driven for at least 3 miles and parked for a half hour to 4 hours it
