Idling High is a good thing?
The Dodge/Mercedes/Freightliner Sprinter comes
with a high idle function that costs almost $1000.
Is it worth it to idle as high as possible?

Have 1984 300D with 310K on it....very good condition, strong runner. Developed
a transmission problem in the past few days...shifts normally until the last
shift up, and then stays there until RPM gets up to about 4500-5000, then it
shifts into drive.

Anybody ever seen a E320 mirror fail like this
There is a brown substance lealing from the mirror and its lost most of its
reflectivity
I assume that this is related to the auto dimming

My dealer has an 2004 E55 on the showroom floor.
Do you think it would be overly optimistic to attempt a

Just got a 92, W124. When driving there is a breathing sound from the
engine room that comes regulary butt not in rytmic intervals. It sounds
like some kind of pump or valve that lets of pressure.
