Doors lock/unlock from all locations but the drivers door.  The door will lock by itself but not with the others.  Before I tear into it does anyone have any suggestions?

It's back on the road! After a brand new engine was just installed, I am
now truly appreciative of just how nice an old '80s Merc can be to drive.

First noticed it a couple days ago, but my wife says its been making
noise forever. At slow speeds and primarily in reverse, there was a
clicking sound from the read passenger wheel (Yep, that time of year

I have a '91 300E with an original Becker (Grand Prix?) radio/cassette.
I am trying to attach my iPod to it so I can listen to my music
collection on the road (this worked until recently). But the cassette
mechanism keeps ejecting the adapter from the Becker on its own

I drive a 1982 230TE and whenever it goes over a little hump there is a loud
thud as if a ton of bricks have fallen onto the boot floor. My suspension is
the hydraulic type and I had recently changed the 2 sphere-like
parts("pressure reservoir"?) inthe rear suspension system.

Attempting to get my recently acquired car road worthy and have encountered
what to me is a strange problem.  Several of the relays in the fuse box get
hot... real hot... can't touch hot if I leave them inserted.  I have several
things disassembled at this point and am not sure ...

I have many parts for 450 SEL (including engine block,tranny  and
many,....many more)

Got an '81 300TD Turbo that I cannot get the back hatch open on.  I'm told
the previous owner locked it from the inside (forced the lock maybe) and it
is refusing to unlock.  Anyone have any experience with these latch
assemblies and how they work, or know where I can get a diagram ...

My e320 wagon clunks when accelerating at about 10mph.  A prior 1995 did
the same thing and was remedied with a new transmission belt.  Does that
sound like the right fix for this thing?

For some reason my speedometer, tachometer, turn signals and no other
guages were working except for the clock and radio.  The car starts fine
and runs fine, and the headlights work.  I couldn't find any fuses blown
and I'm at a loss for where to check next.  Could someone please ...

central locking doesn't work anymore. alarm activates and the doors will
self close, but i can't lock all the doors at once, and the trunk opener
doesn't work (the trunk's tongue is sticking out all the time now). is this
a vacuum pump problem? where is the pump located on this car? ...

I've got a minor oil leak on my C280 - near the firewall by the oil filter.
I can not seem to actually see the leak - but after a couple hour hi-speed
run - I can find a little oilly smoke coming from that portion of the
engine.   Since access is limited ----- what should I look ...

Any advice on how to first of all remove plug wires, then remove plugs on
V-6,s used on '98 and later cars?  The plugs are hard to reach and the plug
wires have a large metal cap that extends into the spark plug cavities on
the heads.
