| The rise and rise of Diesel (part 5) | 26 Sep 2004 00:55 GMT | 9 |
Read an article in the weekend edition of a German financial paper (Handelsblatt, in case you ask...) that a US sales target of 3000 E320 CDI for the year had been reached in about 5 months. Of course, 3000 cars is insignifiant in the overall context of the US

| Saw an SLR on the street yesterday... | 25 Sep 2004 15:46 GMT | 1 |
Black one, reallllllly nice. First one I've seen in person. If I was looking for a supercar, this would be hard to pass up, even next to the new Ferrari's and Lamborghini's (which seem to be positively everywhere lately). Very, very impressive car.

| ABS and Spedo Fault | 25 Sep 2004 15:00 GMT | 3 |
My father has a 1996 C250 Classic Diesel Saloon (UK Market). The ABS light is on all the time whilst driving and the spedometer does not work. I was wondering if these are related. Does this model use the ABS wheel sensors to generate a signal for the spedometer, and if so

| Need help with dash removal on 73 450SL | 24 Sep 2004 07:05 GMT | 3 |
I am in process of trying to fix a heater control problem on my 73 450SL. The mechanical flap inside the heater box that regulates/directs the drive's side floor air/heat does not full close. Driving around with hot air blowing on your foot in the summer is not fun.

| E320 ABS/ASR warning lights on | 24 Sep 2004 04:10 GMT | 6 |
The ABS ASR warning lights in my 1996 E320 went on last week. Before that, things seem work fine. Would it be an electrical or relay defects? The lights goes on even before a put the car on "drive". Is it risky to drive around with the warning lights on?

| Thick Air Hose for Oil Cooler | 23 Sep 2004 23:04 GMT | 5 |
How long will a pretty thick walled air hose (1/8" wall) last if a section of the oil cooler line is replaced with this? I expect it would...what...melt/disintegrate through at some point and I'd lose all of my oil in a hurry?
