You've probably all had this question before - on the speedo of my 97 E320
there is what seems to be a little round orange light, sort of to the right
of the centre hub of the speedo needle, and to the left of the 240km/h
line...i have no idea what it could be for, any ideas?

I've seen a few posts relating to the wire harness and it sounds
uncomfortably familiar.  I see parts of the harness that are cracked
and losing insulation.  The car's idle gets erratic from time to time
and restarting the engine clears it up but it's happening more

I suddenly find when I engage my blinker for right turns only, my wiper will
turn itself on for 2 sweeps.

Anybody know what if anything is the difference between a 300d automatic transmission and a turbo 300d automatic transmission?

Our 1996 C250 diesel (no turbo) performs exactly as specified by MB re
performance, economy etc and has now covered 133,000 k's (80,000 miles).

My '87 Mercedes 300D Turbo A/C clutch went bad: it wouldn't engage but
at least didn't jam the pully which still spun freely when the clutch

I have a really nice ?81 300D which requires no smog checks. Has anyone ever
dropped a V6 of any sort into one of these? The engine I now have is
non-turbo and would like something with some zip and a tranny for rear-wheel
drive already attached. Anyone with any ideas?
