I replaced the alternator not long ago, and had the battery replaced just
about 4 or 5 months ago. Every once in a while (not even every day) it fails
to start. It will click once  (sounds like a relay....I guess it has a
"bendix" solenoid for the starter?), and that is all.. ...

I am looking for a Bluetooth interface with my Comand system so that i
can use any Bluetooth mobile device with the integrated steering wheel
controls etc
is there such a thing available yet?

My car had problems starting up when cold. So, The mechanic bypassed the
over voltage protection relay and it is starting ok now. He also changed a
big rectangular relay sitting right behind the OVP relay.
Now, 1-Could any damage happen if I use the car until I have the OVP relay

Just bought this excellent condition 84 500 SEL for $2000! and am
excited, but it has a couple of issues I was wondering if people here
might know about (nothing good found after google searches):

The check engine on my C220 has been on. The car runs fine. Don't whether
to have it checked or not. I have access to a scanner but it does not have
the MB cartridge to be able to read the MB codes. I think its just an
emissions issue since this was a California car.

I love the smell of diesel fuel. It reminds me of the tropics.  But
I have a problem with my 86 300SDL.  Last week I overfilled the
fuel tank (left it filling until the fuel ran up over the top of cap).
Now, there is a persistent strong smell of fuel coming from the engine,

I heard that there is going to be a whole new design to the M-Class
coming in 2006? Does anyone know if thats true .. or have any site
with some pictures?

Why are we warned not to overfill the gas tank?
Can anything bad except the cost of the gas happen?

My girlfriend has her 1989 300e which seems to be misfiring.  When she
starts it you have to give it gas and then it will idle by itself.  When
she takes off it does the usual thump thump and when it idles if you go to
the muffler you can hear it going puut puut....ect.  I highly ...

Car is a 92 300e.  Recent new radiator & water pump.  Yesterday engine
temperature was around usual 80 degrees when on the freeway, but went up to
around 100 when stationary in city traffic.  The A/C was not on.  This is
making me think that the fan clutch is no longer functioning, ...

where would i get one or is it fixable?
if i squeeze it a bit the glow lite on dash turns on.
my guess is its a board that is cracked in side of it

1) VERY slugish off the line but only when it's cold.  right after you
crank the car if you try and get on it it seems like it wants to choke

Can anyone make a guess as to what the trade-in value would be for a
silver w/ black interior 2004 CLK320 coupe, fully loaded (except for
the adaptive cruise control and phone)with 21,000 miles in excellent
condition? It's too new for the blue book.

Since fitting new front break pads to my 1996 e230s  I'm finding that my
cruise control is intermittently working.  Some times it wont go on and
sometimes it switches it self off.
I have found that it always works  ( for a short time ) after heavy
