How do I adjust the seatbelt height setting? In my previous E Class, I was able to depress a button and slide the bracket up and down. Now, I can't seem to move the S Class bracket. Thanks in advance.

The engine of a '83 W126 can be started with transmission lever not only in P but in any position (e. g. D or R). May be someone could explain briefly how the ignition safety lock works, and where or what could be the problem in my case.
