Anybody know anything about them or seen one?

Hey Guys,
    Whenever it is near freezing... and the first start in the morning, the
car will start up no problem... but it will surge up and down unless I step
on the throttle and keep it a bit higher than normal idling...

    long time lurker here.  i have the oppurtunity to get a pretty
decent 86 560sel for 1500 bucks.  no visible rust, 170k Miles, and a
couple small dings from hurricane damage.  (i'm in charlotte county
Florida)  the interior is very nice not excelent.  the problem is that

Does anyone know how to open the trunk on a 92 500SL?  The push button isn't
working.  I've tried to probe in via the license plate light, but haven't
found the right place to push or pry.  Going in from the back seat is not an
option--it's all welded steel.

My '03 E320 will be needing 4 new pads & rotors (I can tell by the noise
it's making).
How much should this cost? $1200?
It's been a while since I've needed a full brake job on any of my cars.

Check Engine Light seems to be a common problem on MBs and other cars.
Advance, Autozone etc all provide free check of codes and resetting.
On our MB, I get told that problem is likely the MAS or O2 Sensor or wiring
harness.  However, there does not seem to be an easy way to just ...

Has anyone had similar problems as the one I describe below, or have a

Does anyone have any experience on this for the 1990 diesels.  My 1983 SD
gets 30 on the interstate highways. 22 around town.
I know that if you have to ask this you can't afford one; however, I am
curious.

when i go over bumbs in my car it has a dull rattle underneath. It kind of
feels jittery...I` sure there are bushings worn out under the car.
What I am wondering is there any common problems to look for on these cars.
I don`t want to get into replacing everything under the car ...
