My wiper on my 95' C280 make a "thud" noise and stopped in the middle
of the windshield on the return stroke.  I assumed I blew a fuse but
it is OK. Then I noticed that when I hold on to the wiper (which moves
with relative freedom now) and turn the wiper control on and off it

THERE MUST BE A LEAK! YOU CAN ALSO USE THE GAS ANALYSER TO FIND THE LEAKS

My 95 S320 has recently started producing a rotten egg smell from the
exhaust.  I have not changed fuel or anything else.  Idle is good at
600 rpm with a slight deviation +or- 50 rpm.

I could use a bit of help with the wife's 1989 190E 2.6...
It died suddenly (in traffic, of course), but we were able to restart it.  I
got it home, but now it won't restart.
Here's what I've checked:

I need to replace the neutral/park safety switch on my tranny...can't start
in Park anymore.  Took a look at it today....Can somebody share the secret
of how you get that thing off without dropping the transmission?
This is the metal version with integral backup light switch style ...

Have just developed a strongish gasoline odor in the cockpit and can't seem to
find the source; anyone have any ideas?

I own a Mercedes 1983 230 E.My instument panel light on my dashboard isnt
working.
What number fuse is it,in the fuse box? Is it possibly a faulty wire
connection?

I need to replace my turn-signal arm assembly on my 1981 300SD Turo MB.
However, I don't know anything about the how to ... nor where to, not to
mention the name, of the turn and is assembly.

I had the booster for my '83 240D reconditioned bt a company that's been
in business doing just that for over 50 yrs..
Upon reinstalling it, it would not 'boost'. In fact after 3 attempts,
said company gave up and refunded my money.

I am the proud new owner of a "new" '82 SD with 70,000 miles. Can the
original rims and tires be replaced with the later 205 65R 15 rims and tires
without a drop in performance? I have a '83 SD with 350k and have always
hated trying to keep the wheels clean. The 15's look so much ...

I have read various threads about the troubles with the 350SD. While not as
solid as the old 5 cylinder diesel, apparently the 6 cylinder model from '86
to '90 was still a pretty good engine, if well maintained. Is the engine in
the '92 300SD improved over either of the other 6's?
