420SEL owners manual + transmission questions21 Nov 2004 17:34 GMT4
I just bought a Mercedes 1986 420sel in (I think) good condition, but
it didn't have an owners manual.  I love the car, but have a few
questions:
1.  Is there any place I can find an owners manual online or on CD?  I
1992 Mercedes 600SEL21 Nov 2004 16:51 GMT7
Excellent condition low mileage under 60,000
How expensive would one estimate the annual maintenance of
a car like this. Being the first year is this a bad choice.
1992 - 1999 what is the best year for the 600 series.

Help Please!: Heater not working on a 19021 Nov 2004 02:17 GMT2
Hi - I have a had this 190e for 5 years now - when I first got it, the
heater didn't work (fan was ok, just no heat). I left it with the Merc
specialist to fix. They said that the vacuum tubes on the controls were
loose - presumably they meant the rotary controls on the ...
Questions about 500sel AMG20 Nov 2004 16:50 GMT2
A 1984 500sel AMG I have seen around and longed for is now for sale and I
have a couple of questions I?m hoping someone can help with.  First off,
about what would be a fair price (roughly speaking of course) and how do
you tell how much AMG did to it?  Secondly, is there any ...
vacuum diagram for 1980 240D desired20 Nov 2004 15:39 GMT6
My Dad's 4-door 240D lost proper vacuum control of door locks some time ago.
A mechanic disconnected the entire vacuum circuit, for the passenger
compartment, at the engine firewall, which solved any leak, but rendered the
locks for the doors and trunk without any vacuum assist, at ...
'69 W115 220/8 Manual Required20 Nov 2004 12:57 GMT1
After a slightly half hearted effort (I have been real busy) to locate
a workshop manual of some sort for this car, I thought I would ask
here. Hard back, paper back or CD ROM, I am not fussy! If you have
one, or know where I may be able to get one I would really appreciate
MB Tex19 Nov 2004 23:27 GMT14
Anyone have a Mercedes with MB Tex interior ? Just want to know what you
thing of it. I am tough on a car and only keep them 2-3 years so I hate to
spend $1500.00 more on leather.
Coil Spring Color Codes for 1987 300E19 Nov 2004 19:38 GMT2
My new to me 1987 300E sits off balance on a level surface.  The front
looks too high and the rear looks a little low.  I thought there was
either sag in the rear springs or incorrect front springs so I took it
to the local Mercedes dealer for their opinion.  The person from the

"Hard" shift in automatic transmission18 Nov 2004 22:02 GMT4
I recently bought an '85 280SE w126. I believe that the change of gears
is quite noticable. It actually feels like a "hiccup" in the car when
accellerating slowly through the gears.
How bad is that, and what can be done?
1965 Mercedes W111 22018 Nov 2004 19:45 GMT5
I just got a great offer from my teacher at my polytechnic. He have had a
W111 Mercedes sitting in a barn for quite a moment. His dad bought it when
new and he wants to make it shine all over again. The problem is, it's been
sitting there for 20 years. This means it has to be ...
