New to me 1987 300E. Runs beautifully when it finally gets going. Misearable to start when motor is cold. When cold, I can eventually get it started by repeated cranking attempts without touching the gas pedal. This morning, it took about 20 times

| replacing switch on climate control unit | 10 Nov 2004 21:11 GMT | 3 |
I need to replace the EC button on the climate control unit in my 380SE. Do those come off without any uninstallation, or do I need to take the wood paneling off and then take apart the climate control unit? Thanks,

| Difficulty starting car when cold | 10 Nov 2004 18:48 GMT | 4 |
I have a 1991 190e and I'm having difficulty starting the engine in the morning. I have to crank for a while. When it's warm, it starts right up. Any ideas? In the morning when I have a hard time starting, there is a small bit of white smoke that I haven't noticed before.

My 300E has been leaking from the top radiator hose. I feared that I may have the dreaded broken radiator neck syndrome, but I removed the hose this morning and the neck seems to be intact. I did notice that the lip at the end of the neck only goes around half

| NO Acceleration - 2001 CLK430 Cabriolet | 09 Nov 2004 15:55 GMT | 2 |
