Patience pays. I have been looking for about 3 years for 126 SD to replace
my 350k + miles '83 SD. I just bought a one owner 1982 300SD with 70,00
miles and in great condition. Everything works, all service records--even
has a Mercedes battery. The spare rim has never been rotated ...

We have a 2000 CLK430 convertible and it's well past time to replace
the coolant.  Could someone please advise the location(s) of the block
drain(s)?
On a related note, any opinions on the repair "manual" CD's being sold

There is a manual for 1987 560SL on CD on EBay for 23.95.
Does anyone know if it is any good?

First time out at night, I realized there was no light on the gear shift
positions.
I assume there are lamps under there somewhere, Anyone know how to get at

My 1991 300SE has 125,000 miles on it, and uses about 2 quarts of oil
per 1,000 miles.  When I get stuck in traffic and have extended idle
time (10 minutes will do it), the engine develops a hard miss that
will not go away, even at highway speeds.

I am adding a XM radio feed to the Becker head in an '82 SD. The existing
four power wires into the unit are red, grey, black and brown. The XM
receiver unit has a yellow line that is to connect to the battery, a red
that connects to the accessory line, and a black to ground.

Hi, I'm changing from  a bmw 740i,...I want a mercedes saloon either
e-class, or s-class. What models will give me the performance I am
used to,..I will consider petrol or diesel......all help greatly

I have a 2001 Mercedes 320ml. As I was driving I notice the engine
check lights were on, so I check the engine and found that the whole
air filter box was all unclamp and loose to the point of falling off. I
reclamp the 6 clamp to secure it tightly but the check engine light is
