what are the implications... and is it possible to get a new one

The unthinkable has happened. My venerable '83 300D won't start.
Turns over okay, but the glow plug light on the dash doesn't
light and the little box attached to the inside of the left
front wheel well that I'm thinking is a voltage regulator makes

After replacing the sending unit for my oil pressure guage, it still
reads max pressure when I turn the ignition on. Any thoughts? Does
this point to a faulty guage in my dash?

I recently bought a rebuilt Mantis climate control servo which leaked
as soon as I installed it. So I got a replacement which leaked even
worse. Has anybody else had problems with Mantis servos, sooner or

i have a 190 benzs and the rear brake stick all the time. i have change the
pads rotors both brake hoses brake lines i bleed them and no air comes out just
fluid, but the still stick some say its in my abs some say booster. help me

As long as you keep replacing your brake pads with Pagid or any of the o.e.
brands, your front wheels will remain covered with black graphite brake
dust.

been through the owner's manual about a million times, can't find any weight
recommendation for oil. called the local mercedes service and got 2
different answers. anyone know what the official recommendation from
mercedes is?

Want to paint the car but don't know whether or not to take moldings off or
mask them.  The lower door moldings have to come off to fix the rust so I
know I'll have to spring for some new clips there.  Are they difficult to
reattach?  The roof rails? Do they just pop off similar ...

I need infos about W201,..I've only VIn and Engine number. It's W201, 200D
automatic. VIN: WDB2011221f284188 and engine: 0114890 (I think it's too
short,..but only this stay in documents of this car). The most important
information is: What is the production year of this MB ?

It finally cooled off enough for me to turn on the heater and I'm getting
nothing but cold air.  Is the problem more likely to be in the dash control
unit or the heater valve?  Any suggestions about how to test either would be
greatly appreciated.
