w124 throttle feel27 Jan 2005 14:10 GMT2
I've driven four w124s--one with a four-cylinder, and three with sixes.
All of them seem to have this heavy throttle spring, or

My apologies for cross-posting to several automotive groups, but I am

One of my cars (Mercedes CLK) has factory equipment Xenon headlamps (D2R
Effect on accuracy with US speedometer in Euro model?27 Jan 2005 06:17 GMT6
I recently bought a 1980 500se that at some point was fitted with the
instrument cluster from a US version of a W126.  It seems to me that it is
off but I'm not sure by how much.  Does anyone here know a formula for
figuring the actual speed?  I know from the owners manual for the ...
1989 300CE valve stem seals and guides or just seals27 Jan 2005 03:31 GMT3
This car has 125K miles on it.  Do you recommend that I change just the
deals or both the seals and guides.  2 of my plugs get fouled up every 3-4K
miles.
Thanks for any responses.

My ML 320 has been off scheduled maintenance by MB for a few years now.  I
bring it into other places for normal oil changes, etc though.
I'm wondering, living here in NY, that perhaps after 5+ years the anitfreeze
might be diluting/breaking down and am thinking of either adding to ...

My 1982 240D w/ automatic trans has been parked in the driveway since

in a rather hilly area and hitched a ride into work. Later that night

Understanding body style names25 Jan 2005 23:15 GMT21
I'm new to this group (I just posted a message about the EGR valve bolts on a
3000SE).
I've been reading other threads simply out of interest, but I'm lost with the
generic, or short-form names you all use. Where can I find a summary of body
