| Stuck steering in w124 | 13 Jan 2005 14:51 GMT | 31 |
Hi, my father's 1989 200D w124 has the steering locked, he can't turn the key. Does any one have any "quick" up their sleeves on how this could be fixed? Would prefer to just remove the whole locking mechanism, don't care about security, nobody'd steal it. TIA cp

I'm thinking of buying a car from an out-of-state private seller. But, I'm not sure what's the best way to go about it. Any suggestions? If things work out, I'm thinking of having an auto transporter ship the car over.

| Rotex Gold brake pads | 11 Jan 2005 19:28 GMT | 3 |
These pads have no black graphite in them so they don't make your front wheels black. I bought a set for $58 from coximport.com and they are a steal! They have the same stopping power as o.e. pads and they make them for all MB's. P.

I was driving a 2003(/8) E 320 CDI at low temperature (0 Celcius). At low speed (60 to 100 km/h) the engine temperature raised to 100 Celcius, going down to 95 when idling. The car had less than 10 000 km on the meter. My own, 2003(/3) E 320 CDI engine temperature hardly reaches ...

My E320CDI(2000) sticks in Park sometimes. I can shift it by sticking a pencil down the rear end of the gate (as recommended in the manual). However I want to get to the mechanism to inspect/re-grease or whatever is necessary. How do I get the panel surrounding the shift lever off? ...
