I've noticed several 300SD's advertised with dead power windows.
It is unsurprising that the windows would die after 250,000 miles, but
it seems a little odd that so many seem to go unrepaired.
Is reparing the power windows on these cars prohibitively expensive?

Despite new coolant system cap and coolant renewal as reported earlier and
curing collapsing hose condition a leak has become evident in heater
region. On standing and cooling, sometimes a half cup of coolant may
trickle away, running off the bodywork behind the left hand front ...

The 2005 MBs (at least my SL and my friend's CL) no longer offer the
ability to valet lock the trunk with the metal key. You can still lock

I replaced the front rubber flexi drive, I've replaced the centre
bearing and carrier and now I've swapped out the whole prop. for
another known good one.

I have just bought a '77 280E but no manuals as yet.
Problem is dash light on that I have no idea what it is.  Two concentric
circles with three small dashes down each side. Located next to voltage
indicator lamp.

I have a 1990 300e 24 valve model Benz.
Just had the vale guide seals replaced and the
mechanic hit a snag.

I have had a squeaky binding rear brake on my 123 280e. I just had both
back wheels off. On one of them there was a lot of loose black dust and
one brake pad was much more worn than the other on the same caliper. Is
this pad's piston likely to be the culprit?

Well, we're working on our 4th GPS system for my 2004 wagon -- what gives
with these things ? -- no satelite reception, faulty CD-ROM reader, dead
computer.
My 2 Garmins have never had such problems.
