OK, the leak on the W126 isn't going to be fixed.  Any recommendations
for keeping the goop off of the floor?

I have a 1991 300CE but the seatbelt presenters dont seem to work. Checked
the wiring under the seats all look fine, also checked the switches on the
doors, I believe there are relays somewhere in the back near to the rear
left and right windows?

I normally use synthetic (AGIP Sint) oil in my
86 300 SDL. Since the oil light came on and I have
a 3 hour drive to do, can I add a quart of 15W-40
diesel oil until I can have the oil changed? Thanks,

I need help assembling the wiring on the central console in the front for
the rear driver side passenger window. If anybody can provide the wire color
and the hole number it belongs to I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a 1985 300 SD, the starter is hung/seized up.  There are two
hex head bolts on the rear of the starter that have to come out. I
could find only metric allen drivers to 10 MM (a set) at Autozone and
Sears, but  it's bigger than that.  It seems to be 3/8 in. more or

Does anyone have the current list of approved oils for the Flexible
Service System FSS?  My list is dated October 2000 and has eight oils.
Only one of them, Castrol syntec 5w-50, is suitable for Wisconsin
(temperatures below -4 deg. F) and is readily available.

I've noticed on ebay someone is making Mercedes shop manuals available on
CD- cheap. Anyone ever used one, or seen one? Are they legit? Is the quality
there? They say "third party" manuals. Interestingly, the sellers don't seem
to reply to my emails, which should tell you ...
