I just noticed something on the model number/engine listings on such sites as German Star and others, that the 115 240D starts at 1974. Why no listing for the 1973 115 240D?

When i start my motor ewerything seems to be o.k. but say 10 seconds after i start driving the ABS and ASR warning lights go on and stays on and the ABS system stops working. Before those lights are turned on the ABS seems to work perfectly.

Just picked up a new SL500 and it's great, BUT, already the seat upholstery on both seats has a couple of buckles in it like it needs to be restreched. It's worese on the driver's side but it is there on teh passenger's side too. The car has only been driven 200 miles. I weigh

I have a 2004 SLK320 with less than 3K miles on it. It's sat in the garage most of the time I've owned it. There's nothing wrong with it--I just thought my wife and I would use it, but it turned out we didn't.

The 2005 Mercedes with Nav have the capability to show DVDs, but it has been disabled (I'm sure due to lawyer concerns.) Anyone know of a way to re-enable it, especially while car is parked? Thanks. Doug

For seemingly no reason at all, my 300SE (W126) has decided to idle at ~ 1200 rpm instead of her usual 600 rpm. She does this hot and cold. Apart from that she is running and performing as before. What's going on, where do I start looking to slow her back down?

ok i got the valve cover off in the garage and i got the exgaust manifolds disconnected. Can't i just un bolt the intake bolts on the side of the head and leave the intake there? Isnt the side of the block holding the intake up? And how hard is it to dissconnect the timing chain ...
