I believe the blower motor in my 1993 300E2.8 has siezed up but until my Haynes manual arrives from the UK, I'm not sure how to get to it to check. Could someone send me the instructions on how to get to the blower to take a look at it?

Does anyone know how to remove the rear hub on a 116? After removing the centre axel bolt, and then the four other retaining bolts behind the hub...what's the next procedure to remove the hub? Does it require a slide hammer?

My Heater Blower Fan has stopped working. I removed the heater blower motor and had planned to replace the brushes assuming that this might be the problem. However, after applying 12Vdc directly to the blower motor it runs fine.

I am trying to repair my heater blower motor and have gotten stuck in removing the under-dash panel passenger side. I removed the three screws at the top of the upholstery panel and there is also a plastic rivet.

The car is a 1989 300E with about 180,000 miles. When it runs over small bumps on the road, it makes a rattle/knock sound. It is very annoying and a little scary. I think it is coming mostly from the left (drivers) side of the car.
