Sprinter 2.9di07 Mar 2005 14:36 GMT3
Hi all, does anyone know the reputation of these engines in terms
of being able to handle performance improvements?
Also does anyone know if it will fit on any auto boxes?  I'm
thinking of an engine transplant and the way it pulls a sprinter

Hello experts!
I am stumped on this one. Here are the details:
When opening the driver door, the courtesy lamps do not come on. The
drivers power seat will not work either. When you turn the key on, the

300D Electric Mirror Woes07 Mar 2005 06:11 GMT2
I have a '83 300D with the electric passenger side-view mirror. The
mirror has stopped working. Though I did a Google Groups search, I
didn't find anyone writing about this. When I play with the mirror
joy stick I can hear the mirror motor moving and there is minute
Merc UK service prices reduction!06 Mar 2005 21:52 GMT2
I just had my first B Service on my CLK W208 (at 20 400 miles and 2 months
short of 4 years).
(Just shows you how little I drive!)
Because of the low mileage the trip computer started counting the days to
90 560 SEL, several questions06 Mar 2005 18:11 GMT1
Just purchased my first Mercedes, decided to go with the top of my wishlist
and went with the 1990 560 SEL.  A couple of items need repair, so I thought
I would pose questions to the group and see if anyone has experience with
these.  Just for background, this car has 190,000 miles ...
Diesel Fuel Alternatives In Emergency06 Mar 2005 14:06 GMT21
This 300SD gets TOO good a mileage!  So good that I forget to think
about gas stations!
I got more than 470 miles out of a tank and was cruising on "E" when I
noticed it.  Actually the kids noticed it.
Heavy Karl Says New S Klass in 0706 Mar 2005 12:11 GMT15
Stopped by Heavy Karl's store to look at the new CLS. Big - er - small
- well it is a disappointment. It is a CL on an E klass frame and it is
tiny. So I asked about the new S class and when it is coming out. Sales
guy said in 07. I said that it is really due out this fall as an 06

Check Engine Light05 Mar 2005 19:10 GMT3
I just purchased a '98 230 SLK. After I filled the gas tank for the first
time and closed the lid tightly, the Check Engine Light
came on while driving.
How do I turn off the light?

Power Window Motor Rebuild?04 Mar 2005 23:34 GMT7
It figures that my window would die right after asking questions about it!
Has anyone attempted to replace the brushes in a 300SD power window motor?
I'd hate to pay for a new motor if it's possible to pop a set of brushes
in it.
brake caliper - a question04 Mar 2005 17:36 GMT2
I just changed a brake caliper on my w123 280e. My manual said to
rotate the piston so the step on the face bearing on the pad should be
at a specific angle. I couldn't move the piston to the required angle
so just stuck it on as it was. What will happen?
