The driver door on an 83 300D turbo is very hard to latch fully.  In order
to securly latch the door, I have to lightly slam the door.  I've
adjusted the door latch as per MB maintenance manual but there is no
change.  The latch has two shims.

Please can anyone help with this one.
My brother's 1994 C180 has gone through four batteries, after
failing to start up.
He had the Alternator tested, and it was found to be ok.

I have an 83 300SD and I'm trying to sort out the wiring.
The power connector is good, but I can't figure out the speaker wiring.
Someone has cut the speaker connector and left the ends taped up. Does
anyone know how the wiring works?

My 1978 280sel, has been acting up, to the point where I couldn't get it
started.Someone came over looked at it, hooked a wire from the battery to
the coil and it started right up, his diagnosis, bad ignition switch.
I haven't replaced the switch yet , but the car still runs doggy, ...

   The starter relay shorted out  recently, and I replaced the starter with
a rebuilt one. I couldn't get the replacement to energize and start car....
I found it still did not work because there was no starter control power
reaching the the rear terminal on that terminal strip ...

How do I disable the alarm? It goes off when I don't want it to sometimes
because when it is wet, the key doesn't shut it off when I unlock the door.
I can't find a fuse anywhere in the car for it.

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement woodgrain insert for the

I have read that for the older W124-model water might have corroded the 02
sensor and that cleaning it would solve the problem. Could this also happen

Above warning  appears infrequently (about four times in the last 6 months)
Each time I check the oil level which is always at maximum.

I have a 1991 300E. When I first start it when cold, it will not idle unless
I hold my foot on the accelerator. When coming to a stop it stalls. After
