| Oil Light? | 14 Mar 2005 17:53 GMT | 6 |
Lately the oil light has been coming on intermittently in my 91 300CE. Oil levels are full. I got an oil change the other day and immediately afterward the light came on again. Pressure is normal, oil levels normal, everything normal. The only issue I know of is an oil leak ...

| Don't lose sleep over your Bekker Grand Prix Radio! | 14 Mar 2005 03:21 GMT | 25 |
Your Grand Prix tape/radio was created at a time before the word "Digital" was in our vocabulary. It's radio is poor by today's standards, and nobody makes cassette tape anymore or listens to tape anymore. Merceders-Benz would be hard pressed to find a customer who would spend ...

| How to adjust alternator on 85 300 SD | 14 Mar 2005 02:56 GMT | 3 |
I am trying to tighten the alternator belts, as they are squealing very badly. Have to do it from below, as the turbo blocks it from above. I loosened the upper bolt that slides along a "channel", and the lower bolt a little, too. Just above the alternator there is something ...

I own a 1980 450 SLC and my only complaint is the sheer size of the steering wheel. The car is based in Australia but I would be interested in any information on sourcing an old style Nardi stainless steel/wood rimmed steering wheel and an appropriate boss/adaptor kit. New or used, ...

Driving along a few days ago had to do a sudden stop. Both ABS & BAS/ESP lights came on. If you switch off and back on both the above lights come on as soon as you move and the wheels lock if you hit them hard (ie no ABS)

| 1999 SLK230 vs 2000 SLK230 | 13 Mar 2005 07:08 GMT | 4 |
I am about to get an SLK230 and have found a good nice 1999 model. My only concern is that a mechanic told me that the series changed in 2000 and the 2000 series SLK230's were much better mechanically and better to drive. Does anyone have any experience in this area? Is it
