In spite of numerous trips to the dealership my 2001 SLK continues to leak
in the rain.  Water comes in at the top of the A pillers and drips onto
whatever is below... usually my thigh.  Dealership thinks it is coming in
past the windshield but has been unable to fix the problem.  ...

Sorry for the queston.  Someone within the last couple of weeks noted on the
newsgroup that there was a idle adjust screw that (likely) will give a small
measure of control over the rpm.  I lost that post, anyone know where this
screw is?

About a month ago all the lights went out for my instrument cluster as well
as my radio and climate control. I tried adjusting the dimmer to no avail
and the fuse is good. Today when is started my car i have three gauges and

Just seeing if there might be a DYI fix for a problem - my driver's mirror
keeps drifting and I have to keep hitting the memory button to bring it
back into place.  Is there something I can tighten, and if so, how can I
access it?  Or is it off to the shop?  Thanks.

Why would the rear window drop down ( about 1/2 way gradually )

I was surprised to see that Mercedes-Benz USA has added the
short-wheelbase S350 to its roster for the model year 2006. That
particular model is fitted with antediluvean 3,7-litre V6 motor putting
out the laughable 241 horsepowers rather than new 278-horsepower

and the intermittent feature on my wipers does not work.  Never has,

Well, picked up my new crapestate up last night. Cheapo 300TE, drives
OKish enough given the purpose I bought it for (moving house) and was
cheap enough to throw it away when/if things to 'orribly wrong.

My wife's 94 E320 has a problem where if you are just driving down the road
the doors will automatically lock and in a few seconds the horn alarm system
will go off. Also if you close the truck anything other than gingerly both
doors will lock which can be a problem if the keys ...

Does anybody know a digital version of a mercedes W123 workshop

I also need some tips and hints on service and repair.

The tilt and slide sunroof on my '88 190E refuses to open,  it will neither
slide, nor tilt up. (it's in the closed position right now). Activating the
switch causes a LITTLE movement (i.e the sunroof wants to tip down so it can
slide back), but it encounters some sort of obstacle ...

 I have a 80 300SD 116 body, is the front brakes interchangeable with 82 300D?
Because I can buy a 300D parts car for a good price.

I am looking for the rear passange door ash try for a 1991 MBZ 420SEL in
light gray.  The dealers no longer carry them.  Does anyone know where I
