1995 E320 wagon 136K runs great except for acceleration problem. It
hesitates/surges when accelerating mid to high speeds (60 to 80). The
car used to be very smooth through all speeds. This is intermittent but
happens when the engine is warm. The engine light doesn't come on. I've

Does anyone know how I can get an owner's manual for my 1997 E-420 sedan?
I'll even settle for a copy of the manual.  I'm not desperate but I can

heard that water is a much better coolant than anti-freeze. So I was
wondering if diluting my coolant would cause my car to to run cooler
in hot weather.

I have been having a chronic problem with my 2004 E320 wagon.  The
satellite radio, phone, CD player, navigation, FM, etc have been messing
up for the first 6 months of my ownership. (it is 6 months old).

Ok, I posted the cold start problem of my 93 190e 2.6.  Since then I
read that if you check the ohms arross the terminals of the cold start
valve and get zero or infinity then the valve is bad.
So I tested mine and I get the same reading as if I touched the two

I located a good used rear end differential (2000 C230) which I hope
will work with my 1998 C230 (bad differential). Mine is a L4PFI DOHC
16V and the used one is LHFI (16 V???) (both made in Germany). Are they
interchanagable/exactly the same or not? Neither are Kompressors. Was

My 95 MB E320 serpentine belt  need s to be changed how do chane it? plus
when my car is at stop the temp needle go pass the 1/2 way point to about
3/4 is this normal?(the temp comes back to normal after i drive it ) help?

Tried to get my torque converter drain to the six oclock position in a
'83 300D.  The girlfriend would bump the starter but the darn engine kept
starting up.  Major league frustration.  
What can I disconnect to keep the darn engine from starting??  I did not

Whilst attempting to open the bonnet of my E Class TD (1999), the
plastic operating catch situated beneath the steering wheel snapped.
On further examination the cable is visible (and accessible) but it
can't be budged, presumably because the bonnet catch is broken/stuck.
