My 96 E320 does not start on (P)park but starts on neutral(N)? And the ETS,
ABS, and Check engine lights turned on. But the car runs smoothly. And the
bakes are fine. What parts is needed or codes I need to turn off this

I've just bought a W123 230 ce, which has rather nice 5-point alloy
wheels fitted.  Only problem is the security key to get them off has
been lost somewhere down the line...  Does anyone know where I can get
a replacement from, or is it a dealer only type thing?

My '92 300TE is in despirate need of an audio upgrade.  The previous

First of all, I love my car so much that I named her "Benzy!" So,
when she has problems, it really upsets me. This morning, when I tried
to crank her, she stuttered for a minute before she caught on. I
admit, I have used 89 grade gas a few times lately due to high gas

For some time now I have noticed that under hard acceleration there is a
cloud of blue smoke coming out from the tail pipe.
The oil level does not seem to go down on the dip stick...
On occasions there is also a strong exhaust smell outside the car.

Two weeks ago I bought a used '02 CLK430 AMG coupe.  The car had 32,671
miles and I verified that with a CarFax report before purchasing.  The
vehicle appears to be in exceptional condition.

I mifgt buy a 1995 S420 with 126,000 miles on it. My mechanic said to be
carefull because to fix the air conditioning on this model take like 25
hours of labor and could run between $3000 and $4,000 to fix. Has anyone
else had that experience?

Hoppecke no longer supply the batteries branded as Mercedes' own.  Anyone
know who now supplies them, or can recommend an alternative?

The passenger seat of newer models (Australia) has a sensor to detect if the seat is occupied and switches on the passenger airbag and seat tensioner.
Can anyone tell me the method this sensor uses to detect a passenger and what is the minimum weight to activate same?

Hi first post so here goes i have a 1999 C200 Classic with Air con the
problem i have is that the main radiator fan comes on after about 5
mins of starting the car from cold and doesnt go off untill you turn
the car off

i haven't a clue how to get this group on the internet.
