i have one that has oil in the coolant. i'am told that it never overheated.
had a water pump put on a short time ago. could the oil be coming from the
work on the water pump or maybe a blowen head gasket. if a blown head
gasket looking for pages on replacing the head gasket. thanks

I've been using 100 0/0 biodiesel in my '82 300SD and '97 300E. I cannot
tell any change in performance outher than decline of black exhaust. I've
only run a few tanks. Are there any known or suspected problems with onging
use of biodiesel?

Here I am again!  My two small front aux. radiator fans are not
turning on and I’m running hot because of it.  Anyone know what

Every now and then I see some steam (not a lot) come from the grill when
stationary.  Although it happens after driving for a while, the
temperature gauge has always been okay, (around about the half way mark).
Any ideas?

I purchased a 1997 E-420 last Nov.
In the research before and after the purchase, I found a lot less about
the E-420 than I did about the E-430.

A couple of weeks back I mentioned that my newly aquired Merc 300TE had
a lhs rear light that was playing up in the most interesting fashion -
it seemed to have a live feed to the tail light even though the
ignition was off, plus it appeared to be suffering from grounding

Can anyone tell me how the rear bumper cover on the 380sl comes off? I
can feel clips attached to the bumper, but is there anything else I
should know before I attempt to pry them up?
