Does anyone have a few names and numbers for an engine for a 97 E320? Had an
oil leak and the car overheated. Now the mechanic is telling me it is better
to replace the engine instaed of trying to rebuild the engine.
Any suggestions? Don't tell me I am screwed!

Anyone know how to check to see if the transmission vacuum valve mounted on
the injector pump is good or not? My wife's 300D shifts rather erratically
and I'm thinking this might be the problem. I put a new modulator valve on
the transmission but that didn't help. Vacuum gets to the ...

I changed filters today and used the pump to prime the filters. It started
to leak while pumping and continued after I started the engine. Can this be
rebuilt or does it have to be replaced. It's an 82.
